High Neo-classic Early American Coin Silver Cream n Sugar with Lid Gold Wash Ball & Black Eoff & Sheppard
c1850
Presented is great large sized hand hammered Neo-classic Cream pitcher or sauce boat and matching sugar with lid, both with gold washed interiors. These beautiful pieces are marked for silver made by
Eoff & Sheppard
and sold by Ball & Black and  who were only in business association for a very short time between 1851 & 1872. I have posted pictures of my research in the photos above. This beautiful set has a great gadroon edging around the rim and base with a great wide handled lid on the sugar. Both have pedestal round bases with engraved armorials with a calligraphic monogram of K. They have only some minor dings and only some fine scratches from gentle use and care. They are excellent pieces for the silver collector and make a great addition to almost any tea or service.

: Marks for silver made by E&S for Eoff & Sheppard and Sold by Ball & Blackwho were only in business association for a very short time between c1850

: some dings, a period light calligraphic on both monogram, some light scratches from gentle use and care.
