This Dish is RARE! They are very hard to find. This antique dish was made by the Old Rose Distilling & Company as a promotional item. Northwood made promotional plates for the Old Rose Distilling Co. of Chicago, in the early 1900's. They are always in green and lettered on the collar base, but the front has Northwood's Grape and Cable pattern in the variant (the tendrils reach into the center) and is stippled as well. These plates also have the ribbed back. This plate is in superb condition. It has one tiny chip as pictured otherwise it is flawless. It is a beautiful green Irredescent carnival glass dish.
