An American silver “Castle Top” card case embossed with Trinity Church New York, NY. Scrolls on the other side. Vacant cartouche , unmarked. Fitted case for Page, Keen and Page goldsmiths of Plymouth, Philadelphia. Leather case is in good condition, some scratches, push button open works properly.
Made in circa 1842. Attributed to Leonard and Wilson known designer of the only card case maker of this.. This case would have been made for the rebuilding of the church in 1842. Coin silver 90% silver.
